Target Audience:
The content was created with prospective and incoming students in mind, especially those who might not see themselves represented in traditional marketing materials. We wanted to reach individuals exploring non-traditional paths, career changers, and first-generation college students by showing the real, everyday faces of CTE. My mission was to make the programs feel more approachable and inspiring by reflecting the diversity, ambition, and energy of the students already in them.
This series of instructor highlight videos was part of a campaign to bring more visibility to the people behind CTE. While I wasn’t on-site for filming, I developed the key talking points and interview questions to help guide the message and tone. I also created the animated layouts, graphics, and overall visual design to align with Instagram’s format and dimensions at the time, ensuring everything felt cohesive and platform-ready.
Student Testimonials:
This graphic series was created to spotlight real student testimonials and their experiences in the CTE program. I designed the layout specifically for Instagram’s dimensions at the time, with a focus on keeping things clean, readable, and visually engaging. Rather than scheduling formal photo shoots, we gave students the option to submit their own photos—which often led to more genuine, personal results. Many of the featured students were also working on building their own social presence, so we made it a point to tag their accounts when they were open to it—a small but meaningful way to support them and strengthen our digital community.
